This message typically appears if you are trying to install a Printer, Scanner, Digital Camera or other peripheral (typical full message, file 'wiafbdrv.dll' on Windows XP Home Edition CD ROM is needed).

You can either use your original Windows CD, or browse to the I386 folder to see if you can locate the DLL there.

This DLL could be missing from your system due to a corrupt file or registry, or could have been deleted from you system by your Anti-virus software if it had become infected at any point.

Failing all this you can download a copy of wiafbdrv.dll here.  Suggested location for wiafbdrv.dll is "c:\windows\system32".
