A capped service is where you have a limit, in giga bytes, to the amount of information you download within a month. If you reach this limited then there is an extra charge for further giga bytes you use. In comparison, an unlimited service, allows you to surf the internet without worrying about the amount of giga bytes you use, therefore some unlimited services can come with a higher tariff.
To give you some idea of typical download rates, refer to the table below for a guideline. Please note that this is just a guideline to try and help you workout if a capped service is beneficial to you needs.
