BCC, or Blind Carbon Copy recipients are special. These recipients get a copy of a message, just like CC, Carbon Copy recipients do. However, the addresses of the BCC recipients do not show up in the mail, BCC recipients stay anonymous.
By default, both Outlook Express and Vista's Windows Mail only show the TO and CC fields.
To have all three recipient fields visable at all times simpy follow the below steps:-
- Open a new message (create mail) in Outlook Express or Windows Mail
- Click on the View menu from along the top
- Click on the option All Headers, this should place a tick (check) in front of this option
Once you have followied these steps, you will see all three recipient fields everytime you create a new message.
If you wish to turn off the BCC field then simply repeat the above steps to remove the tick (check).
