If the option for "Copy to CD" has disappeared, then follow these instructions as it may correct this issue when this option does not show on the Picture Tasks menu.

Check to see if the CD-RW or DVD-RW is functioning properly

• Right-click on My Computer.
• Click on Properties.
• Click on Hardware.
• Click on Device Manager.
• Click the plus (+) next to CD/DVD Drives and make sure the drive is functioning properly.

If it has a yellow checkmark next to the drive, then this is the cause of the problem. You will need to right click on the drive, click on Properties and check the device status under the General tab to see why the drive is having difficulties.

If the drive is functioning properly, then examine these other options.

• Open My Computer.
• Right click on the CD-RW or DVD-RW drive and click on Properties.
• Click on the Recording tab.
• In the Desktop CD Recording section, make sure the "Enable CD recording on this drive" is checked.

If this option was not checked then this is the possible problem.
